Past Perfect

One picture per month, 23 October 2012

I think cemeteries are fascinating. They're places that can make us reflect, reminding us how insignificant life can be, but they can also encourage us to make the most of what time we have left. They're places infused with sad emotions but also happy memories of a past life with a deceased relative or friend, a past perfect. They're places that often allow forgotten feelings to emerge, that make you feel alive.

This picture was taken during a full moon at Kyparissi, Peloponnese, Greece.

One picture per month is a monthly mini newsletter by photographer Yiannis Katsaris. We are not a big company so don't expect endless news emails. The newsletter will feature one of Yiannis' recent pictures or one from his archive. If Yiannis is lucky enough to have his pictures exhibited, published or something worth mentioning you will receive these updates too. This communication platform aims to be a gift in your inbox rather than a traditional newsletter.
