The myth and the misunderstanding

Poor Medusa. Bet you don't hear that very often. People usually know about the tail end of her career, turning men into stone with the help of the snakes on her head. She wasn't always a reptile loving petrifying character. Medusa was turned into a monster by a Greek God - punished for a crime she didn't commit. Goes to show, sometimes if you know the back story you can be a little bit more sympathetic.

Medusa – The Beheaded Lover, the new production by Laboratorium/Theatre Lab Company is presented at the venue SHUNT on the 11th and 12th February at 9:30pm. I am very happy to be given the opportunity by Anastasia Revi the director, to experiment and create video work that will be incorporated into the show.

One picture per month is a monthly mini newsletter by photographer Yiannis Katsaris. We are not a big company so don't expect endless news emails. The newsletter will feature one of Yiannis' recent pictures or one from his archive. If Yiannis is lucky enough to have his pictures exhibited, published or something worth mentioning you will receive these updates too. This communication platform aims to be a gift in your inbox rather than a traditional newsletter.
