The music and the Nymph

When the mask bearer strikes the bow, the faceless musician haunts that chord. In ensemble, however alone, the Nymphs dance to the rhythm and carry a sword.

Among picture takers stand I – here all along - and whilst in the making I tap and tap in tempos I know. Faceless but familiar, on stage yet so close, this music has seen me creating before.

I worked on those tunes in motion and still; today it feels different being here… below. A crowded Garage applauds the Nymphs including the maidens who were part of the strings.

A good spirit beside me, unveiled as she is, shows me in silence that music insists.

Daemonia Nymphe, an ethereal world music ensemble, performed at the Garage last Saturday. We have worked together on numerous occasions. I have been Director of Photography for their music video of the song ‘Selene’s Awakening Horos’ and the Photographer and Lighting Designer for many of their shows.
