Elafonissos is an island in the south Peloponnese in Greece. It’s a place where the sky dominates the land. Simos beach at the south end of the island is a place with sand hills and cedar trees that you can camp underneath. At moonset time is the best spot I have been to observe the stars. The view makes you feel so small. It reminds you that your daily routine, concerns and ambitions are so trivial in front of the bigger mechanisms of cosmos.

One picture per month is a monthly mini newsletter by photographer Yiannis Katsaris. We are not a big company so don't expect endless news emails. The newsletter will feature one of Yiannis' recent pictures or one from his archive. If Yiannis is lucky enough to have his pictures exhibited, published or something worth mentioning you will receive these updates too. This communication platform aims to be a gift in your inbox rather than a traditional newsletter.
